Activity Center Update + Police Blotter

Dallas has a lot going on at the Activity Center!  Here is a link to all the upcoming events and classes.

From the Chief:
PATROL / CID

LPD Officers conducted 172 traffic stops, responded to 22 alarm calls, responded to 19 animal calls, answered 17 suspicious circumstances calls, responded to 5 collisions and handled 84 other types of calls for service for a total of 319.

Routine traffic stops resulted in the following charges; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia X 1, and Driving while Intoxicated X 1.

Officers responded to the Lakeway Airpark in reference to a plane possibly attempting to take off prior to sunrise. The officer located a plane occupied by the pilot with the engine turned off. The operator said that he had taxied from his hangar and was waiting for sunrise to leave. No violation had occurred. 

Officers responded to an Oak Grove Blvd. hotel in reference to an unwanted customer. Upon arrival officers found an elderly male who was shouting at hotel employees and a guest. The subject was asked to leave, and issued a criminal trespass warning for the property. No charges were filed in this case. 


Officers responded to a RR 620 store in reference to a possible theft. Officers learned that an unknown female subject had stolen merchandise from the store. A report was taken and this case is being investigated by detectives.
