LRMC, Sing Along Performance, ZAPCO, New Years Gala

The Statesman reported this week that a Houston company is looking into acquiring Lakeway Regional Medical Center.  There have been some financial issues with the Hospital since it opened in April 2012.  Here's a link to the article.

The Lakeway Sing Along's will perform holiday songs on Sunday, December 8 at 2pm or 4:30pm, at the Activity Center. Admission is an unwrapped toy for kids up to 17 years of age.  If you are unable to attend the performance but would like to donate to the Green Santa program, we will be collecting the gifts in the LAC lobby now until December 8th.

Lakeway Sing Along will present its 11th annual Christmas concerts supporting Lake Travis Green Santa to help out families in need during the holiday season.

Two back-to-back Sing Along performances will be at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek. The City of Lakeway is an event co-sponsor.  Here's a link to more info.

ZAPCO will meet on December 4th in regular session.  Here is that agenda.  There are only two items that will be heard at this meeting - first will be to vacate the Jazz and Gym subdivision related to the Lexus items that are postponed to January.  The second is related to a multifamily project at Serene Hills and Hwy. 71 for a "cut and fill" variance.

Don't forget the BIG Gala on New Years benefiting HelpOurWounded.org!  Here's a link for more information - please consider joining us for a GREAT night and to support our Wounded Soldiers!  There are still some tables left - don't get left out!

I hope all of you have enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving - it was a wonderful day and all the food was GREAT!  Think of those in harms way that couldn't be with their families this year and say a prayer for them and their families - we hope all of them return home safe and sound!

The Lakeway "Lights On" festival will be held on Friday December 6 at the Lakeway City Hall parking lot.  Here is a link to more info.  The REAL Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be there to welcome the kids and talk to each one about their dreams for Christmas this year!

There's a lot going in the area, please be careful and have a safe holiday - I look forward to seeing you at the events coming up!

Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy "Black Friday".
