Hi folks!
Just wanted to let you know that the LCRA had a Special Board Meeting today. Mayor DeOme spoke in favor of a resolution before the Board of Directors to change the Emergency Resolution voted on in November. Here is that agenda. It basically means they will be changing the "trigger point" they use to send water downstream to farmers to 850,000 acre feet from 775,000 acre feet. This means baring a significant rainfall event that will raise the lake levels, no water will go downstream again this year. Here is a link to a more explanatory document. Here is a link to the signed resolution - this is a good thing for Lake Travis!
So far I have measured .7 inch of rain at my home - more is promised!
Be careful out there!
