Hi folks! I'm back. Couple of newsworthy issues before my Friday post!
First, many of you might have heard that one of our neighbors has contracted West Nile Virus here in Lakeway. It appears it might have come from a golf course drainage area.
First the City Public Works department has been applying a mosquito larvicide to areas of standing water for several weeks now. The primary problem areas in City Park have been treated as well.
Jeff Muller with the golf course has been notified and will treat the suspected area immediately.
Be sure to use insect repellent when outside and stay away from any suspected areas. Be Careful out there!

The City is Live Streaming Council Meetings. Citizens interested in viewing the meeting live on-line can go to the City website and click on the link in the center blue navigation bar that reads: City Council Meeting Video Recordings. This will open up the video page where viewers can click on the "Live" tab at the top of the page to access the meeting in progress. Here is a link!
