Early Halloween morning dispatch received a call reporting shots fired from one vehicle at another vehicle. The car turned North on 620 from Hwy. 71 - the vehicle was spotted by out officers and a traffic stop was made by our officers and Bee Cave officers - GREAT WORK!
On further investigation, 34 grams of cocaine and a hand gun was found. Bee Cave police then filed Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony 2) on the driver and Travis County has filed a Deadly Conduct charge on the driver and passenger. Both driver and passenger were arrested and transported to Central Booking (downtown Austin) and an immigration hold was placed on both since they are not US citizens.
When you see an officer, thank them for their service, they insure our safety!
