The City's Secretary position has been filled! Donna Boyle, our current Administrative Assistant was promoted today to City Secretary pending Council approval. Congratulations Donna!
Get Ready! The July 4th parade is almost here! It will be on Saturday, July 3rd - regular route from the Live Oak Clubhouse to the Activity Center on Lakeway Dr. Starts at 8:30AM. The theme this year is "Military Service - A Family Affair". Following the parade is the pageant at the Activity Center at 10:30AM - Grand marshall Rosie Babin and her son CPL Alan "Doc" Babin, Jr. will be there to meet and greet you.
Other activities include the Lakeway Swim Center ($3 all day), skate park is open and free all day, activities start at the Lakeway City Park at 6PM. Shuttle service from Emmaus Catholic Church and Lakeway Elementary School begins at 6PM. Fireworks at 9:30PM. Enjoy the festivities!
A sign is up warning of construction on Lohmans from Lakeway Blvd. to Sailmaster - traffic will need to detour via Lakeway Dr. - expect delays!
