Another week is coming to an end! The police are getting $83,367 from a grant for mobile computers in the cars. Chief Bowers thinks it will pay for installation in 6 vehicles.
As soon as TXDOT comes up with a standard sign, they will be posted at our school zones making it illegal to talk on cell phones in the school zones on Lohmans Crossing and Trophy Drive.
If your interested in driving a golf cart on the city streets, put the September Council meeting on your calendar. Karl Ansbach will be addressing the council about it.
As stated before, we are now under Stage 2 water restrictions. More detail is available at Lakeway MUD's website www.lakewaymud.org
Council meeting is coming up on Monday evening at 6:30PM. Highlights will be Crosswater Yacht Club's appeal of the City's determination under Chapter 245, Local Government Code, a Development Ordinance Amendment pertaining to trail design standards, a change of the Tuscan Village PUD and approving a Road Improvement agreement that involves the SH71 and Serene Hills Drive Intersection Improvement Project.
There will also be an executive session to consider an agreement regarding an EEOC claim.
