I received the following question today:
"Could you provide an update on when the new section of Serene Hills between Flintrock and Hwy 71 will be opened? Also, when will the road from Bee Creek into Rough Hollow be opened? Both appear to be complete at this time."
The short answer is not really. The section on Serene Hills is waiting on construction of the highway entrance facilities on 71. It is my understanding that the money has been appropriated and contracts are being let at this time - my best guess is several months yet.
The Rough Hollow to Bee Creek is waiting on stabilization of cuts made during construction. There is no official word at this time, I expect several months on this one also.
