Weather, Lights and a Little More!

*****Weather*****

Once again, a little sun, a little warm, a little rain (.05 inch) and now it's cold again with a little wind.  Pretty much a normal December!  A little warm for my taste on Christmas Eve, but it was a GREAT one!  If you want to see the current conditions (or history) here's a link to the weather station on the 15th Tee at Live Oak Golf Course.

City's been pretty quiet, apparently the Holiday Season has slowed down everything for a week or two.  On Social Media it appears an error was found in the Deer Survey that was pretty much significantly deficient anyway.  This buck is pretty much in control of our yard.  He's starting to be a real problem for the dog...

The shining light are the Christmas Decorations all over the city!  Seems like a lot more lights up this year than in previous years and it has been beautiful!

Even the sunsets are fabulous!  Here's one for the books:

The other shining spot it the Lakeway Trail of Lights.  I'm told it's in the top ten things to do around Austin for Christmas.  If you haven't had a chance, take a few minutes and walk through - be aware though, it's longer this year!  Here's a few pictures from 12-28-19.

*****Trash*****

In case you haven't figured it out, if your trash day is on Wednesday, it will move to Thursday - Thursday will slip to Friday, etc.

Zoning and Planning (ZAPCO) will meet on January 8th.  No agenda yet.

That's all for right now.  As you can see, I take night photo's too - if you have an interest in a night view.  If you need any aerial photo's please consider Sky Pictures - call or email and I'll get it done.  More trail of Lights and the Sunset there

Please be safe out there, and please lock your car and don't leave valuables in it.  It appears Lakeway is changing in a bad way.  Multiple car break ins (not sure any were locked) and a couple of thefts.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a very prosperous New Year.  Thanks again for reading the blog!
