Once again it seems that Police are under attack all over the country. Please continue to show your blue lights in support, it is appreciated by all! Let's be sure to show them how much we appreciate their work to keep all of us safe!
It was a short week and mostly quiet. I've seen lots of comments about the Hamilton Greenbelt Parking Lot - I apologize for the delay, but I think ending up with a good product that will last for a long time is a better choice than accepting inferior workmanship. The City is not incurring any additional expense and it appears it will finish up next week. I look forward to the end of this journey.
Get ready for "Lights On" - coming up on December 2 from 6-8 PM at the City Hall - here is a link to more information!
The Lakeway "Sing Alongs" will present its 14th annual family Christmas Show this Sunday, December 4th. Here is a link to more information. It's really a fun time and they ask you donate a toy for admission.
Our Recycling Center will host its final collection event on December 7th - hear is a link to info.
The traffic signal on Lohmans is substantially complete. We are currently waiting on Austin Electric to install the meter and turn the power on - they have completed installing the transformer and lines. My guess is sometime in the next couple of weeks it will be operational, but I have no control on their scheduling.
We had a good Council Meeting Monday and all items were passed. We discussed a property purchase near City Park in Executive Session and have made an offer - we'll see how that works out.

=========================
In case you heard the helicopter circling last night, the Lakeway Police assisted by Austin Police were looking for a missing person. They were successful and the person was ok and is doing fine.
Thanks for all your continued support! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope to see you around our fine City.
