We held the Volunteer Appreciation Party Thursday evening and it was a wonderful evening celebrating the 127 volunteers that are a big part of keeping Lakeway the wonder City we all enjoy.  Thanks to all of the volunteers - you saved the City approximately $185,000 dollars over the year, about 1/2 cent on the City Tax rate!  A special thanks to our "Unsung Hero", Vickie Taylor and our "Volunteer of The Year", Al Tyson!  Lakeway Resort and Spa did a GREAT job and it was a wonderful evening!

Chessie Zimmerman tells me we have issued finish out permits for the Level 12 Salon and Torchy's Taco's - both in the "Oaks".  I've also received new that Lucy's Fried Chicken will be opening this Monday at the previous Iguana Grill location.
