More drought news!
The Lake Travis Economic Impact Study was formally released Thursday at the Oasis. Here is a link to their website where you can view both a summary of the findings and the full report. Councilman Alan Tye spoke briefly about the ongoing affects on the area and our City.
Starting October 3, 2011, those served by Lakeway MUD will go to Stage Two water restrictions. This means watering your lawn will be restricted to one day a week. Here is a link to their website - scroll down to see the full information on watering restrictions.
The ongoing drought continues to severely stress Texas trees. A new Texas Forrest Service video give some good timely information on how to water. Here is a link to that information.
