As of 5pm today, only applications for office from the incumbents were received by the City Secretary. That means there will not be a contested election and the General Election for Council Members in Lakeway will be canceled. Dave DeOme as Mayor, Alan Tye, Dennis Wallace and myself as Council Members were up for re-election and we will all be serving for the next two years.
The Village of The Hills also has an uncontested election and Doug Lindgren will serve another term as Mayor. J.R. Smith will serve as Alderman and Rick Zehrer will replace Lloyd Troeltzsch who is giving up his position as Alderman.
