ZAPCO Meeting Update

Today ZAPCO (Zoning and Planning Commission) met on several sign requests including a variance to the sign ordinance allowing the Grill at Rough Hollow to post a temporary sign near Lakeway Blvd. advertising their new business. All sign requests were agreed to and the variance was allowed.

Speedy Stop requested a Special Use Permit to locate a convenience store where the old Exxon station was located. The Commission decided to recommend against this Permit to the Council for numerous reasons including traffic concerns, hours of operation, size of building, and general fit in the neighborhood.
